There are lots of theories about why cats love boxes including feeling comforted and being a good place to hide and ambush the unsuspecting. Whatever it is I have never had a cat that didn't like sitting in a box. I felt compelled to make a linoprint of my cat sitting in a box as his expression was so dignified but he looked so ridiculous.
